Ice Skating at Penn's Landing

Feb 4 2012 - 3:00pm
Feb 4 2012 - 5:30pm

Join PFP at the River Rink at Penn's Landing for ice skating from 3:00-5:30pm on Saturday, February 4. Again this year, skater extraordinaire and PFP friend Melissa Hrinko will give free skating lessons to all PFP participants - adults and kids!

The River Rink is the area’s only Olympic Size outdoor ice skating rink located on the Delaware River waterfront at Columbus Blvd. at Market Street.

RSVP to Stephanie (stephanie@phillyfamilypride.org) with the number of skaters by January 20th to hold your spot. She'll give you payment information.
Cost is $5/person (adults and kids) for PFP members and $10/person for non-members. Skate rental is included. If you drive, parking is $10/car.

Otherwise, Penn's Landing is very public transit accessible for those who are in the city.

In the event of inclement weather, we'll reschedule for a different Saturday. This is an OUTDOOR rink, but indoor rinks are cold, too! Expect to warm up as you skate and dress in layers. The River Rink does have a heated area for breaks and snacks.
